Catalyst Support counselling service

Catalyst Support continues to offer up to 24 counselling sessions for people who are:

• worried about their drug or alcohol use

• experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression

Progress is reviewed every six weeks.

How and where sessions take place

Counselling is available:

• face-to-face in Woking and Godalming

• online via Microsoft Teams

• sessions are also being set up in Staines

Cost

The cost is means-tested, ranging from £15 to £40 depending on income.

Who it is not right for

This service is not suitable for people dealing with:

• complex trauma

• psychosis

• paranoia

• active suicidal thoughts

Clients must be able to fully engage and attend sessions sober.

How to refer

Referrals can be made online by:

• the person themselves

• a professional (with the person’s consent)
