Christmas day company

If you’re alone on Christmas Day and wouldn’t mind some company, why not join one of the Christmas meals in your local community?

Mary Frances Trust have put together a list what to do on Christmas Day in Surrey including: volunteering opportunities and Christmas lunches across the county, virtual drop ins, and information about foodbank parcels and food clubs available over Christmas.

Gaskins provide a free Christmas lunch delivered to your home on Christmas Eve. Open to everyone in need within 15 miles of Guildford.

Churches Together in Godalming are holding a free lunch on Christmas Day for those who would otherwise be alone. Please call 07501 208814 or email shosholozo@hotmail.com for more information.

You can join the Greeno Centre Shepperton for a Christmas day lunch on 25 December 10.30am to 3pm. There is a traditional freshly-cooked three course lunch and entertainment, guests also receive a gift bag and a tombola prize. Booking is essential.

Spelthorne Borough Council will be providing their usual Meals on Wheels service up to, and including, Christmas Eve and will have a limited service on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.
