Community Connections Surrey launches new partnership website

Catalyst Support, Mary Frances Trust and Waythrough have launched a new Community Connections Surrey partnership website, as well as new marketing materials as part of a brand refresh.

The Community Connections Service offers access to free mental health support to Surrey residents (16+) in the form of individual goal setting sessions, wellbeing activities delivered online and face-to-face in the community, as well as financial advice and information.

Nature Nurtures project

Mary Frances Trust has recently launched a new Nature Nurtures Project to help Surrey residents embrace the healing power of nature.

The project provides free, accessible activities designed to suit all people in a variety of places in Surrey Downs to connect with nature and each other. The programme includes online activities for those unable to go outside who would still like that connection with nature. Please note this project isn’t part of Community Connections Surrey.

Community Connections Peer Support

Mary Frances Trust has spaces left on the following peer support groups:

  • Online Men’s Peer Support Group: on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. From 8pm to 9.30pm
  • Face to Face Men’s Peer Support Group: weekly on Thursdays, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm at the Leatherhead Hub
  • Online LGBTQIA+ Peer Support Group: every 3rd Tuesday, from 7pm to 8pm
  • Bipolar Peer Support Group: every 1st Thursday, from 7pm to 8.30pm. Hybrid sessions: both face-to-face in Leatherhead and online
