Surrey County Council has received an IESE Certificate of Excellence. The recognition is for its Planning for Your Future campaign. The award recognises the council’s work to help residents:

plan ahead
understand their choices
make informed decisions about future care

The judges said the campaign set an excellent standard. The council delivers the programme with Age UK Surrey and other local services.

A key part of the programme is the Care Cost Indicator. This simple online tool shows people how much different types of care may cost. The tool helps residents understand what to expect. They worry less about the unknown and learn how to start planning earlier. The tool is now the second most visited page on the adult social care section of the council’s website.
