Carers’ Rights Day events and training in Surrey
Many unpaid carers do not know what their rights are, how to access them, or what to do if those rights are not being upheld.
Carers’ Rights Day is a national event that helps carers, employers, schools and communities learn more and take action.
Events in Surrey
Action for Carers Surrey is running a range of events for unpaid carers, including:
- a talk by Professor Luke Clements, a leading expert on carers’ rights
- a practical session with Surrey County Council Carer Practice Advisors on carers’ assessments and taking breaks
- fun and informative local carers’ rights quizzes
Visit the carers’ rights events webpage for more details.
New online training
