Catalyst Support counselling service
Catalyst Support continues to offer up to 24 counselling sessions for people who are:
- worried about their drug or alcohol use
- experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression
Progress is reviewed every six weeks.
How and where sessions take place
Counselling is available:
- face-to-face in Woking and Godalming
- online via Microsoft Teams
- sessions are also being set up in Staines
Cost
The cost is means-tested, ranging from £15 to £40 depending on income.
Who it is not right for
This service is not suitable for people dealing with:
- complex trauma
- psychosis
- paranoia
- active suicidal thoughts
Clients must be able to fully engage and attend sessions sober.
How to refer
Referrals can be made online by:
- the person themselves
- a professional (with the person’s consent)
