Care costs made clearer

Surrey County Council’s Adult Social Care team is launching a new online tool in mid-October.
It’s called the ‘Care Cost Indicator’.

The tool helps people understand how much care might cost over time. It shows average costs over weeks, months and years.

It’s designed for people who pay for their own care, carers and anyone helping to arrange care.

The tool is part of the award-winning Planning for your Future campaign.

It includes:

  • a sliding scale to show care costs
  • advice on planning ahead for your care
  • links to support and information

Find out more about the tool at drop-in sessions during Get Online Week 2025:
