Carefree - breaks for carers

Carefree supports unpaid carers by providing them with much-needed breaks. Carefree works with hotels to donate their unsold rooms, transforming them into life-changing stays for carers. Their mission is to ensure carers receive the rest and relaxation they deserve, helping them to continue their vital work with renewed energy and well-being.

To be eligible, carers need to:

• be over 18 years of age
• provide more than 30 hours of unpaid care per week

Most hotels offer double or twin rooms with breakfast included. Carers can take someone with them, but this should not be their cared-for person, so they can truly get a break away from caring.
