Sunflower dementia café and Singing for the Mind in Guildford

Sunflower Café and Singing for the Mind are groups for people living with dementia and their carers in Guildford.

The two groups meet on different weeks. Sunflower Café runs one week and Singing for the Mind runs the next week.

Singing for the Mind uses music and singing to bring people together.

At Singing for the Mind, you can:

• sing familiar songs
• listen to music
• take part at your own pace
• spend time with other people

Sunflower Café offers time to talk and take part in simple activities.

At Sunflower Café, you can:

• talk with other people affected by dementia
• share stories
• join memory games and other activities
• ask dementia care staff for information

You can join in as much or as little as you choose. You can sit and listen before deciding whether to take part.

Parking is available at the church.
