Men in Sheds - The Woodhouse Craft Centre (Oxted)

Men in Sheds is a friendly group where you can make things, learn new skills and meet people.

It is open on Monday to Thursday mornings at the Woodhouse Craft Centre. It is free to attend.

Anyone can join. You do not need to be a man. If you enjoy working with your hands and want to spend time with others in a relaxed space, you are welcome.

Members make many different items. These include:

• bug boxes
• bat boxes
• beer carriers
• resin crafts

The group also takes requests for custom items and fixes things that need some care.

The Shed gives people a place to work at their own pace. It has tools and materials ready to use. People share skills, learn from each other and help with local projects. Many members say it gives them purpose and helps them feel less lonely.

New ideas are always welcome. There are lots of ways to get involved.

The Centre offers:

• a place to meet others
• tools and materials for craft work
• help to learn or improve skills
• a chance to sit, chat and enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit

Everyone from the local area is welcome to come along and have a go.
