Guildford Chess Club

Guildford Chess Club is one of the strongest chess clubs in the UK. It welcomes players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to experts.

The club runs:

  • adult and junior coaching
  • league teams across four major competitions
  • regular tournaments and blitz events
  • a thriving junior section with over 100 members
  • community outreach, including chess in schools and prisons

The club is closed in August and on bank holidays.
