Guildford Chess Club

Guildford Chess Club is one of the strongest chess clubs in the UK. It welcomes players of all ages and abilities – from beginners to experts.

The club runs:

  • adult and junior coaching
  • league teams across four major competitions
  • regular tournaments and blitz events
  • a thriving junior section with over 100 members
  • community outreach, including chess in schools and prisons

The club is closed in August and on bank holidays.
