Godalming and Farncombe Bowling Club

Godalming Bowling Club is a lawn bowling club, situated in Phillips Memorial park alongside the River Wey. In addition to the bowling green, the park provides a bandstand, a children’s play area, a riverside walk, wild meadow, library, car park as well a beautiful park area for children to play and families to picnic. Being so close to the bandstand, the club gets to enjoy ‘Music in the Park’ while members play all through the summer.

The club has a pavilion which provides a spacious social area, a licensed bar, a well-equipped kitchen and seating area.

The club holds internal matches, plays in competitive league matches as well as friendly matches. Members take part in club competitions as well as competitions at county and national level.

The club has mixed membership and welcomes both playing and social members. Individual coaching is also available for all abilities.
