Princess Alice Hospice The Man Shed

The Man Shed is a free woodwork group for adults. It's a relaxed space to meet others, learn new skills and spend time together. It's open to men and women, including patients, carers and those who are bereaved.

Everyone starts with a taster session, then can join 16 weekly sessions. If there's space, they may stay longer.

No experience is needed. People can make items for themselves or loved ones, or help raise money for the Hospice. There's no pressure to talk, but it's a safe place to chat.

Session times:

• Men only: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Women only: Tuesday
• Mixed group: Friday

Times:

• Monday to Thursday: 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm
• Friday: 1.30pm to 3.30pm
