Men in Sheds - Caterham

Men’s Sheds are community spaces where men can meet, talk and work on practical projects together. The activities are often similar to those done in a garden shed, but shared with others.

A Men’s Shed is not always a shed. It might be an empty office, a portable cabin, a warehouse, a garage or a purpose-built workshop.

Activities vary from place to place. Many sheds offer woodworking, metalwork, repairs, electronics, model building or even car projects.

Most members are older men, but many sheds also welcome younger men and women.
