Stroke Club - Haslemere

Haslemere Stroke Club is a small friendly group offering a chair based physiotherapy sessions with a pianist, followed by tea and then an activity, an interesting talk, a quiz, or boccia.

They aim to make the afternoon fun and light-hearted but they are good at talking to the members and listening to their troubles, and helping where they can. People all take part as much as they are able to and there is no pressure to do more than they feel they can. And of course, carers have a chance to have an afternoon off.
