Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care (SDAC) offers a 24-hour freephone confidential helpline for anyone worried about alcohol, drugs, and mental health. They offer:

• signposting to services that can help
• referrals to telephone counselling services
• suggestions for resources to support mental wellbeing
• promotion of drug and alcohol treatments

SDAC listens to understand callers' struggles and then advises on services or refers directly to treatment with the Telephone Counselling Service or partner agencies. Sometimes, just talking about thoughts and feelings can be enough to make a change or feel better.

Their BACP Registered Counsellors and support advisors help people learn about themselves, use their own knowledge and skills to create a healthy way of living, and learn new ones along the way.
