Gardening and Horticultural Services - Surrey Choices

The Surrey Choices Growth Team helps people gain confidence, learn new skills and get ready for work. It offers hands-on experience in gardening, countryside management and horticulture.

The team is part of Surrey Choices Vocational Projects. It works with the EmployAbility Team, who help people move into volunteering, work experience or paid jobs in the community.

People can learn how to:

• sow seeds and grow plants
• care for trees and shrubs
• use gardening tools safely
• manage countryside spaces
• work as part of a team
• plan a day at work
• take part in community projects
