Thames Water - Priority Services
Thames Water Utilities Limited
Thames Water offers a free service to give extra care and support to those who need it most. Their priority services register is open to everyone who meets their criteria. You just need to sign up.
You can sign up if you or a family member:
- are eligible for a pension
- have restricted mobility or a physical disability
- have a chronic or serious illness
- need a steady supply of water for a medical condition or equipment - like dialysis or skin conditions
- need help with foreign language or communication - like dyslexia
- have trouble making decisions that affect daily life - like dementia
- are registered blind or partially sighted
- are deaf or hard of hearing
- have a mental health condition
- are going through temporary life changes
- are a family with young children under 5
If you need your bills in a different format, like braille, large print, on a coloured background, read over the phone, or emailed to you, they can do that. You can also choose a family member, friend or carer to get updates for you in emergencies. If you depend on water for medical reasons or have restricted mobility, they can call you to explain what's happened and check if you need help.
