Emerge Advocacy
Emerge Advocacy
Emerge Advocacy is a registered charity that supports young people aged 10 to 25 who go to A&E because they have self-harmed or are suicidal. Their presence helps reduce anxiety during a very distressing time. They are available when needed, often late into the night, and provide up to three months of follow-up support after discharge. They only discuss faith if a young person asks.
Emerge Advocacy mobilises, equips, and supports local Christians to meet the need for more support for young people struggling with mental health issues in their communities. They can support you in hospital or after you have been discharged. You can call them or ask a nurse to call them on your behalf.
Emerge is here to support you following a crisis admission to hospital, but they are not a crisis line.
