The Light Cinema Addlestone

The Light Cinema wants to offer a great cinema experience to all guests. They provide a range of accessible screenings.

Subtitled for hard of hearing:

• regular subtitled screenings showing different films
• ideal for those who are deaf or hard of hearing
• enjoy a great movie even if you can't hear the dialogue

Dementia-friendly screenings:

• no adverts or trailers
• lighting slightly raised throughout the film
• designed for people with dementia but open to the general public
• pastoral care not provided; a friend, family member, or carer must attend and will go free

Autism-friendly screenings:

• regular screenings for guests with autism and their friends
• sound turned down and lights dimmed, not turned off
• people can move seats but parents are asked not to let children run around
• guests can bring their own food
• ideal for youngsters and adults with learning disabilities
