Farnham Maltings

The Museum of Farnham is in a Georgian town house with many original features and a quiet walled garden. Visitors can explore the town's history and learn about:

  • how Farnham grew from prehistoric times into a centre for hop farming and Georgian life
  • William Cobbett's work as a political campaigner
  • George Sturt's writing and his interest in local crafts
  • John Henry Knight's inventions as an engineer

There is a ramp down to the path as you come out of the back door. The garden is flat and has paths throughout.
