Independent Skills Course
Surrey County Council
The Independent Skills Project is a set of 8 courses delivered in partnership with local community organisations to inform people of the support available to them. It is aimed at those who are struggling with certain aspects of their daily lives such as money, emotional wellbeing and social isolation.
Courses:
Session 1 - Pre-Course chat
Session 2 - Staying Safe and Managing your Money
Session 3 - Emotional Wellbeing
Session 4 - Digital Skills
Session 5 - Staying Safe and Healthy
Session 6 - Using your Skills
Session 7 - Help to Stay Independent
Session 8 - Post-course chat
To make a referral, you can ask a member of library staff to make a referral on your behalf. You can also phone the Surrey County Council Community Helpline on 0300 200 1008.
