Shah Jahan Mosque

Built in 1889, Shah Jahan Mosque is the first purpose-built mosque in the UK and a Grade I listed building. It serves as a religious and community hub for Muslims in Woking and beyond.

The mosque offers:

  • Friday (Jummah) prayers in two sessions
  • Ramadan and Eid celebrations
  • religious education for children and adults
  • guided tours for schools and community groups
  • funeral support and Ghusl facilities
  • hall hire for events and sports

The mosque is a 15-minute walk from Woking station and has on-site parking.
