Pancreatic Cancer Action

Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity focused on improving pancreatic cancer survival rates through early diagnosis. Their mission is to ensure more people are diagnosed early, in time for surgery, which is currently the only potential cure. They also aim to improve the quality of life for patients.

Activities:

• helping healthcare professionals diagnose pancreatic cancer sooner by providing free resources and e-learning
• raising public awareness of pancreatic cancer and its symptoms
• providing free, easy-to-understand patient information
• funding research to find a diagnostic test for pancreatic cancer
• campaigning for change (access to treatments, reducing inequality) on a national and global level
