Men in Sheds - Dorking

Men in Sheds Dorking is a leisure group where men can meet, make friends and learn new skills in a relaxed and supportive setting.

Activities vary, but often include woodworking, metalworking, repairs, electronics, model building and sometimes even car restoration. The group meets in a well-equipped workshop with hand tools, power tools and small machines. Sessions are supervised by experienced and qualified leaders.

Members work on their own projects and also help make items for sale to support the Shed. The group also takes part in local community projects and organises other activities such as fishing, photography and visits to places of interest.

Although Sheds often attract older men, younger members and women are also welcome. The heart of the Shed is not the building but the friendships and connections formed between members.
