Waverley Borough Council Care and Repair Scheme

Waverley Borough Council’s Care and Repair Team helps older people and people with disabilities stay safe and independent at home. They support people who own their home or rent from a private landlord.

They can help with:

• home adaptations, such as stair lifts, vertical lifts, bath lifts, wheelchair ramps and ground floor extensions
• repairs and improvements, such as re-wiring, plumbing, roof repairs, guttering, damp treatment, new windows and central heating
• money advice, including help with income support and attendance allowance

The team gives free advice and support.
