British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS)

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is an independent healthcare charity that provides information and advice for women seeking or considering abortion.

They can provide information on contraception, miscarriage care, fetal anomaly care, fertility, and sexually transmitted infections.

In addition to abortion advice and treatment they provide pregnancy testing, counselling, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) screening, contraception, and vasectomy through their network of reproductive healthcare centres.

They also provide specialist contact centre services to the NHS such as Central Booking Services to speed up access to abortion treatment across a range of NHS and agency providers. In addition, they offer online STI testing, online treatment and advice for erectile dysfunction.

Phone lines open 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm on Saturday, 9.30am to 2.30pm on Sunday
