Independent Skills Course Horley Library

The Independent Skills Project is a set of 8 courses delivered in partnership with local community organisations to inform people of the support available to them. It is aimed at those who are struggling with certain aspects of their daily lives such as money, emotional wellbeing and social isolation.

Courses:

  • Session 2: Staying Safe and Managing your Money
  • Session 3: Emotional Wellbeing
  • Session 4: Digital Skills
  • Session 5: Staying Safe and Healthy
  • Session 6: Using your Skills
  • Session 7: Help to Stay Independent
  • Session 8: Post-course chat

To make a referral, you can ask a member of library staff to make a referral on your behalf. You can also phone the Surrey County Council Community Helpline on 0300 200 1008.

Special Requirements

There is 1 disabled space at the rear of the library off Russell Crescent.
