South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service

South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDAS) provides free, confidential, independent, and impartial advice to anyone aged 16 or above affected by domestic abuse living in the boroughs of Guildford and Waverley. The charity is a member of the Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership (SDAP), a group of independent charities who work together across the whole of Surrey to support survivors of domestic abuse.

They can help by:

  • giving skilled practical help
  • emotional support
  • information and advice

The support offered can be on the telephone, by email, or face to face at a safe venue. Services provided include one to one support, peer and group work and dedicated help for children and young people.

Specialist services are available for:

  • the LGBTQ+ population across Surrey
  • those under the care of the hospital
  • survivors living with a disability
  • housing support
  • survivors who have substance misuse or mental health support needs
