Macular Society Telephone Befriending
Some people with macular disease can feel lonely. Some people find it hard to leave the house. The Macular Society has a telephone befriending service to help.
A trained volunteer will call regularly for a friendly chat. This can help feel more confident and independent.
If you can't attend a support group, but still want to talk to some who understands you, this service can help.
There is a waiting list.
