Surrey Community Action
The Warmth Matters project aims to tackle fuel poverty across Surrey by providing energy advice and assistance. They help families struggling with energy bills and empower individuals to take action, such as switching suppliers, signing up for new grants and schemes and making homes more energy-efficient.
Services:
- advice sessions for groups and individuals at various locations across Surrey
- light-touch advice at events, face-to-face appointments at community venues and telephone support
Strategies to help people keep warmer and spend less:
- simple measures to save energy and adopt energy-efficient habits
- tackling dampness and mould
- empowering people to manage energy debt
- help with switching suppliers and understanding bills
- priority Services Register enrolments

Warmth Matters is not an emergency or crisis service. If you have a pre-payment meter and are at risk of going off supply, contact your energy supplier for advice. You can also reach out to the Surrey Crisis Fund for immediate support in emergencies.
