Knitting and Craft Group
The Knitting and Crochet Guild celebrates the best of these crafts and helps people learn more about them. They care about the history of knitting and crochet in the UK and want to keep that heritage alive while inspiring people to create new and beautiful things.
The group is run by volunteers and funded through membership fees. There is a small charge to attend.
They are a warm and welcoming group, with members aged between 30 and 90 and all skill levels are welcome. Visitors are also welcome.
What to bring:
- your own lunch
- needles, yarn and your current project
What’s provided:
- tea and coffee
- help and tuition if needed
- occasional group workshops
