Chertsey Museum Reminiscences Boxes

Chertsey Museum offers a reminiscence service for the elderly of the local area. A series of 12 reminiscence boxes have been compiled containing original and replica artefacts, sounds and even smells to help trigger conversations and the flow of memories between elders and staff.

Themes covered by the boxes include:

  • travel 
  • home crafts and DIY
  • toys and games
  • clothing
  • cooking
  • Second World War

Each box also contains suggestions for related activities that could be done in conjunction with the box and the topic.

Time

Tuesday to Friday 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Saturday 11am to 4pm
